午饭在一个叫Hong Kong Bankers Club的地方吃，看名字就知道是一个专供香港银行家用餐的地方，东西算不上好吃，但这份privilege也不算轻……正好旁边坐的是负责亚太校园招聘的Madam，就趁机详细询问了今年的招聘情况，得知JP香港今年在大陆总共发了三个offer，其中包括本校金融的大牛张zhixiang同学。其实就如她所说的，单就Sales & Trading而论，如果Equities/Rates/Credits每年招一个应届生（包括研究生），算十个大投行，每年在亚洲地区也就招30个人，分到大陆，到复旦，到本科生，到非金融专业，这概率呵呵……用餐地点环境很不错，望出去就是维多利亚港，第一次领教投行人的“奢侈”……
下午先去参观香港交易所，终于见到了电视中那个圆形的位于中央的实时报价显示器，但是没有想象中的那种激烈喊价报价声，里面的交易员似乎都很闲，居然还有人在看报纸……当天港股“全国山河一片红”——遗憾的是，跟内地相反，红色表示下跌……中国移动当天下跌幅度达7%，在跌幅榜上一马当先，一位重仓中国银行的香港同学一路上大倒苦水——中行因深陷美国次贷危机连遭重创……有意思的是，香港的中国银行好象比内地还多，甚至还是港币的发行者之一，看来中国银行（香港）应该不是简单的中国银行香港分行。回去后是一个Press Interview，类似新闻发布会，当然没那么正式。JP邀请了四个地区的各大财经媒体，果然是“有钱能使记者来”，采访我们内地Top 3的是《中国证券报》驻深港记者，详细询问了参加这个比赛的动机、经历等等，就看他拿了根录音笔，也没记什么东西，难道想回去发挥么……关注《中国证券报》的同学哪天看到一定买一份送给我，好歹俺也算上过报纸了……
晚上是一个鸡尾酒会兼颁奖典礼，JP高层悉数到场，甚至还有当晚从上海特地飞过来给我们颁奖的。至此，我的“乡下人”本质终于暴露无疑——谁教过我这种标准西方社交场合的礼仪啊？拿着杯子勉强喝了两杯已经晕晕乎乎了，还大言不惭地对中国区总裁说今年日圆对美圆必升破100关口……颁奖完有个两分钟的自我介绍，我的全文如下：
Good evening, everyone. My name is Yang Shengyuan, a senior chemistry-related major from China’s Fudan University. You may wonder why a chem major can stand here as one of the Top 3 players in China. Well, first I must concede that I was lucky enough, for the fact that I ranked 4th the day before closing day. Still, it is undeniable that I have a full passion for trading, partly arising from the China stock market boom in the past two years. And later I converted to the global currency market to maximize my gradually self-learned knowledge of technical analysis. As a science major, it’s natural that I have little fundamental knowledge, what I rely on in trading is almost exclusively technical analysis. And I do believe and take it seriously that there exist somewhat similarities in chemical analysis and technical analysis. They all deal with accurate numbers, they all lie on the statistical method, even the charts are similar--have you ever seen some chemical spectra?
Thank Fantasyfutures and thank JPMorgan for giving us the opportunity to gather here. I am glad to meet all of you here, to meet my smart fellow students from top universities in Asia. On this occasion, I hope to exchange our experiences with Fantasyfutures, to exchange our immature views on various markets and even the vista of world economy. And most importantly, let’s make friends with each other, keep contact even if we would depart here soon, thanks!
遗憾的是，没有留下一张抱着奖牌傻笑的照片……为了这个晚会，JP专门包下了这间玻璃制造的酒店，没有一盏灯光，所有照明全部用蜡烛，当然也是在维港旁边，香港靓丽的夜景尽览无疑，估计这一顿至少也得几万块吧……可惜我对西餐天生没有任何好感，半生不熟粘粘乎乎的东西真是让人大倒胃口，如果要我天天吃这种东西，一个月10w我都不干……用餐时坐我对面的又是一个印度人，于是乎我大部分时间用来欣赏香港夜景了。
吃完饭，已经差不多十点了，把奖牌塞进JP赠送的旅行包，跟各位先生女士道别，Day-in-Bank正式结束。据说，只有那个伦敦政经学院的欧洲总冠军（中国人）跟高层很谈得来而拿到了口头的full time offer.
